Handwritten transcription of a letter dated Feb. 3, 1900 from Doyle, in Mahiki (Ala.), to his sister Hattie, somewhere in Michigan. The letter describes his fighting on the island of Cuba, marching for the last 30 days, and having received letters from his father, Dott[ie], Ira, and Nett[ie], probably siblings.
